In a new light

Some keen-eyed fans on social media have noted that the various designs projected upon the Art Deco-esque beveled edge stage backdrop have not been seen at recent ARW gigs, and that's because a change to the production has been made. As of ARW's two-night stand at Glenside's Keswick Theatre, Eric Cathcart of Bigtime Lightning Design has replaced Jonathan Smeeton as Lighting Director, and the result appears to be a cleaner look overall for the shows, though just as colorful.

Here's an example of comparison in terms of the differences in the lighting using one of my favorites of the setlist - "Rhythm of Love" - first from Hollywood, Florida, then from Huntington, New York.
